Unitarian Universalists of Petaluma

The purpose of this congregation is to provide a haven where members can share in a spiritually, culturally, and socially diverse local religious community. We envision a congregation that will be welcoming to all, that values the contributions of each member in shared ministry, and that actively promotes and models individual development of an ethical way of living. We are intentionally intergenerational, and covenant to provide religious education and spiritual growth for children and adults.

UUP Members in the Community! Earl Cruser

Among Earl's many talents, which include preaching at UUP on occasion, as well as leading our adult book discussion groups, is his role as a member of the Dixieland Jazz Band, The Turning Basin Crew.

They'll be playing outside the Petaluma History Museum (the old Carnegie Library) on Saturday, August 11, from 1-3 pm, as part of the quilt show. Take a listen--they're great!

Thanks for the great plug! There is some pertinent material in this week's post from the District about welcoming visitors, leadership, etc. etc. I hightly recommend getting on their mailing list. I would post the URL but if I back track from here I will lose this and not likely get back to it. It should be on our Web Site. By the way, when do we get a report on the recent General Assembly?
